DEAD FLY interceptors debut on Brave1 Market, capable of launching from naval platforms and aircraft
During tests on the Dnipro, 27 drones were launched from a surface platform

MAC DEAD FLY-01 interceptor drones have debuted on Brave1 marketplace. These tactical UAVs are designed to counter Shahed-136 attack drones, as well as reconnaissance and FPV platforms. The interceptors are manufactured by the MAC HUB group of companies. According to the manufacturer, DEAD FLY is currently in the final stage of codification.
One of the drone’s key features is its flexible launch capability: it can take off vertically from ground-based launch sites or be deployed from a carrier aircraft at speeds of around 160 km/h. The UAV is also compatible with naval platforms. During recent Defence Intelligence tests on the Dnipro River, 27 interceptors were successfully launched from a Katran X1.2 uncrewed surface vessel. The Katran naval drones are also produced by the MAC HUB group.
The MAC DEAD FLY-01 is a multirotor quadcopter interceptor powered by an electric propulsion system, engineered to detect, track, and engage high-speed targets within the close tactical zone. The platform is capable of attaining speeds of up to 300 km/h, features a tactical operating radius of approximately 10 km, and carries a warhead payload of up to 500 g. The stated pre-launch preparation time is under 5 minutes.
The product portfolio also encompasses the lower-velocity MAC DEAD FLY-02 interceptors designed to target reconnaissance UAVs such as the Orlan, alongside the MAC DEAD FLY-03 variant configured for engaging ground targets.
The manufacturer positions the MAC DEAD FLY interceptor ecosystem as a core element of a multi-layered air defence framework, fusing aerial and maritime components into a unified tactical solution.
The price of the drone on the Brave1 Market platform ranges from UAH 92,000 for the day-camera configuration to UAH 114,000 for the variant equipped with night thermal imaging optics.
Earlier, Defender Media reported on the Octopus interceptor line, with variants from four different manufacturers currently available for procurement on the Brave1 Market.
