BlueBird Tech unveils relay system for FPV drones with a 25 km range
The relay module can be integrated into a carrier drone or detached depending on mission requirements

Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has unveiled a new signal relay system, ‘Vishchun-P’, engineered to ensure resilient communication for FPV drones over extended ranges. The solution is specifically designed for operations in environments characterised by intense radio interference and complex topography.
The system is developed as a standalone module that can be mounted on a carrier drone or removed to allow the platform to be reconfigured for alternative tasks.
The device is equipped with steerable antennas featuring precision positioning, enabling it to maintain a stable communication link even over long distances. The maximum operational range for video and telemetry transmission is stated at up to 25 km.
‘Vishchun-P’ is compatible with the majority of unmanned systems currently deployed on the battlefield and can be integrated into various drone control architectures. The design incorporates Helix and Maple Wireless antennas, alongside an Emax ES3054 servo responsible for precision targeting.
The company also presented the ‘Vishchun-M’ variant, optimised for use with Mavic-type drones. Both versions were developed in collaboration with combat units, allowing the developers to incorporate real-world operational requirements.
The cost of a single relay system is 33,000 UAH.
Earlier, BlueBird Tech increased production of the ‘Chuika 3.0’ drone detector by a factor of 100. The device boasts an endurance of up to six hours and features an enhanced detection range for video signals.
