Ukrainian drones to use guided missiles from American company Aeon
The missile will be compatible not only with quadcopters but also with UGVs

American deftech company Aeon has partnered with one of Ukraine’s largest drone manufacturers. As a result, Zeus – the company’s guided missile – will be integrated into Ukrainian quadcopters, Defence Blog reports. The munition is priced at $50,000.
The name of the Ukrainian manufacturer partnering with Aeon has not been disclosed. The American company has also signed a partnership with another Ukrainian developer to integrate its missiles into manned and unmanned ground vehicles.
Zeus is also planned for installation on surface vessels. Company CEO Naweed Tahmas confirmed that when founding the startup, he drew on Ukraine’s experience and on the importance of the product`s cost, scalability, and adaptability.
Aeon can produce 10,000 Zeus missiles per year. It is positioned as a competitor to more expensive and outdated precision missile systems, while being more effective than unguided RPG-class systems. The munition features a modular design to enable payload changes and uses Odin software – another company product – a guidance system that enables target detection and tracking.
