The Ukrainian defence tech company Mavka Technology has unveiled the BI34G robotic amphibious drone at the Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025 exhibition, Oboronka reports.

The BI34G is capable of carrying up to 500 kg of cargo and towing up to 1,500 kg. With a full load, it has a range of 20 km. Its maximum speed reaches 10 km/h on land and 15 km/h on water. The drone is powered by an electric motor, while its ability to cross rivers is provided by 24-kilowatt water jets, similar to those used on jet skis.

A sealed capsule allows the platform to be used for medical evacuation. The body is equipped with mounts for attaching a protective net to shield the wounded from dropped munitions and FPV drone attacks.

The company has been working on the project for a year. One of the key challenges was adapting the machine for climbing steep riverbanks. Initially, the drone was unable to exit the water independently, so the engineers replaced its wheels with two tracks and developed a special suspension. As a result, when driving onto a steep bank, the front track pulls the vehicle upwards while the rear track grips the surface, providing support.

In terms of dimensions, the BI34G has been designed to fit into any military minibus. The base version is expected to cost between $25,000 and $30,000. The amphibious drone is currently undergoing codification at the Ministry of Defence.
