Ministry of Defence codifies UD-10 FPV kamikaze from Aero Center

The unmanned aviation strike complex UD-10, developed by Aero Center, has passed official codification by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and has been approved for use by the Defence Forces, Militarny reports.

The complex has been in use by Ukrainian defenders on the front line since 2024. It consists of 10-inch FPV kamikaze drones, as well as a ground command and control station. The UD-10 is designed to destroy enemy personnel and equipment.

It is stated that the drone can cover up to 15 km with a 2.5 kg payload, or up to 11 km with a maximum payload of 3.5 kg. The deployment and preparation of the complex takes 5.5 minutes. The drone’s maximum speed, confirmed during codification, is 149 km/h, while its cruising speed is 67 km/h.

The FPV drones of the complex can be equipped with digital video communication, a combination of cameras, as well as a coil with a 10 km fibre-optic channel, which has also passed Ukrainian codification.

It is also worth noting that last week, at an international exhibition in Turkey, Ukraine presented new interceptor drones and innovative domestically produced armoured vehicles.
