The new ground robot Karakurt developed by IRV can carry and launch up to six FPV drones
The system includes a repeater, enabling operation at a distance of up to 4 km from the communication station

The Ukrainian company IRV has unveiled a new unmanned ground vehicle, Karakurt, which is capable of transporting and remotely launching up to six FPV drones. The system was first demonstrated in Lviv at IRON DEMO 2025, according to Oboronka.
The base platform for the Karakurt is the tracked ground robot Vepryk, which has two launch rails for six drones mounted on its body. This configuration allows the drones to be safely delivered to the combat zone and launched remotely from the operators’ location. The system can remain on standby for extended periods in critical directions and activate upon detecting enemy targets.
The system also includes a mode for the simultaneous launch of two drones, controlled by a single remote. In this mode, the operator can switch between the drones, while the second drone automatically follows the first at a distance of 30–40 metres. This enables more precise strikes on a single target or simultaneous attacks on two separate targets within an enemy column or on a railway.
A built-in repeater and air station enable drone operations at a range of up to 30 km, while the system itself can be positioned up to 4 km from the communication station.
At present, the platform supports 13-inch FPV drones, but a version for launching reusable bomber drones has already been developed. These drones are capable of returning to their position after completing a mission.
