The Brave1 cluster is accepting applications for a six-month paid internship programme for 30 participants, offering a starting point for a career in defence tech. Brave1 is recruiting 30 interns

The national defence tech cluster Brave1 is offering a paid internship for young professionals looking to start a career in defence tech. The six-month programme has 30 available spots. Brave1 is seeking interns in the following areas:

• Technical and engineering innovation
• Operational support and analytics
• Marketing and communications
• International cooperation

Jobs at Trypillian

The promising Ukrainian-British startup Trypillian, which is developing long-range drones and other defence tech products, has shared new job openings with Defender Media.

The first vacancy is for a PR & Marketing Coordinator. The company is looking for a proactive and organised candidate to support its communications and marketing activities. This role will serve as a key link between Trypillian and its PR agency, and coordinate the company’s presence at major defence technology events in Ukraine and across Europe.

Trypillian is also hiring a Hardware Engineer who will be responsible for developing hardware modules, designing and routing printed circuit boards, preparing production documentation, and other related tasks. Candidates are expected to have at least two years of experience in electronics development, practical skills in EDA systems (such as KiCad, Altium Designer, Eagle, or EasyEDA), experience working with microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, AVR, NRF52), and knowledge of data transmission interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB).

Another open position at Trypillian is for a UAV Test Engineer (Fixed-Wing, ArduPilot, QA). The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting flight tests of fixed-wing drones, preparing UAVs for flight, and configuring and testing parameters using tools such as Mission Planner, QGroundControl, and similar software.
