Ukrainian Airlogix plans to manufacture drones in Finland together with local company Innokas
The Finnish side will handle production localisation and scaling, while the key technologies will remain Ukrainian

Ukrainian UAS developer and manufacturer Airlogix and Finnish company Innokas have signed a letter of intent to jointly manufacture UAVs in Finland. Under the planned cooperation, the Finnish side will handle localisation and production scaling in Finland, while the key technologies and design solutions will remain Ukrainian.
The companies also said the signed document will serve as the basis for the next stage of the partnership, potentially including the creation of a joint venture between Airlogix and Innokas.
The agreement is being implemented under the Build with Ukraine initiative and aims to create additional production capacity in Europe to supply Ukraine’s Defence Forces with Ukrainian-designed unmanned systems.
The document was signed during DALO Industry Days 2026 in Denmark by Airlogix Chief Investment and Financial Officer Oleksandr Androshchuk and Innokas CEO Janne Kostamo. “Alongside increasing UAV production in Ukraine, we are building production capabilities in Europe to manufacture additional quantities of UAVs,” Androshchuk said.
The Finnish company specialises in the development, industrialisation and manufacturing of complex technological solutions for healthcare, high-tech industry, defence and dual-use technologies.
“Innokas has experience in industrial production of complex, regulated technology products, while Airlogix has technologies developed and refined based on the real needs of Ukraine’s Defence Forces,” said Innokas CEO Janne Kostamo. “Our task is to help scale production of these systems in Finland and increase the number of products that can be supplied to Ukraine.”
The next stage of cooperation between Airlogix and Innokas will involve jointly developing the legal, technical and production model for the partnership, including the potential creation of a joint venture and establishing the necessary production facilities in Finland.
Defender Media has previously reported on several international partnerships involving Airlogix, including with German-American Auterion and Canadian Sentinel.
