Brave1 held the first online Demo Day of defence tech for military

ЗState defence tech cluster Brave1 has held its first online Demo Day for military personnel. Over 400 participants joined the event, while more than 50 manufacturers presented their technologies and gathered direct operational feedback, the cluster’s press service reported.

More than 10 technology domains were showcased during the event, including high-capacity batteries, unified ground control stations (GCS), guidance and target recognition modules, as well as circuit boards for operating “chekachi” FPV drones.

Three manufacturers unveiled modular FPV drones for the first time. Their architecture allows operators to adapt the platforms to shifting operational conditions by swapping frequencies and individual components without completely redesigning the airframe.

The online format enabled the Demo Day to take place without a physical gathering of attendees. The event aimed to familiarise military personnel with emerging technical solutions while offering manufacturers crucial insight into frontline requirements.

Earlier, the organisers of two defence industry events — IRON Demo and Defence Tech Valley — announced the cancellation of both gatherings due to security concerns. Following a Russian missile strike on a proving ground hosting a defence exhibition, Ukraine is reviewing safety protocols for offline events.
