Skyeton launched Raybird drone production in Slovakia

Skyeton now manufactures and supplies Raybird drones directly from within the EU, enabling faster delivery, simplified regulatory compliance, and closer support for partners across Europe and beyond.

This has been made possible through Tropozond s.r.o., a fully operational manufacturing facility in Slovakia and part of the Skyeton Group.

The Raybird-3 (ACS-3) is a Ukrainian UAV designed for long-duration reconnaissance missions, as well as search and rescue operations. The drone has two designations: the civilian version is known as Raybird-3 and offers slightly reduced capabilities compared to the ACS-3, which is supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

One of the key strengths of the ACS-3 is its extended flight duration. In one flight, the 21 kg drone remained airborne for 24 hours and 31 minutes, covering more than 2,000 km. The operator can control the UAV directly at distances of up to 240 km. Its cruising speed is 120 km/h, with a maximum speed of 160 km/h.

The military variant of the drone is equipped with protection against electronic warfare and can fly autonomously along a pre-programmed route.

Since 2006, Skyeton has been developing and supplying light sport aircraft to customers in Europe, North America, and the Middle East. The company is now also authorised to enter into contracts for its new core focus: the supply and development of unmanned aerial systems. Skyeton has entered a strategic partnership with Danish RF research company Quadsat. The two will develop an electromagnetic spectrum monitoring system based on Skyeton’s ACS-3 Raybird multipurpose drone.
