The Ukrainian company General Cherry has unveiled the Khmarynka (‘Cloud’), a fixed-wing kamikaze drone designed for strike operations at tactical depth.

The Khmarynka has a flight endurance of up to 60 minutes, an operational range of 50 km, and a payload capacity of up to 7 kg. The UAV utilises a catapult launch system, enabling rapid deployment in field conditions without the need for specialised infrastructure, and achieves speeds of up to 140 km/h.

According to the developers, the drone has successfully completed its testing cycle and is ready for serial production and operational deployment. An initial batch of 150 units is slated for pro bono delivery to the Security and Defence Forces of Ukraine to gather critical performance feedback from frontline units.

The Khmarynka is positioned as a high-volume, cost-effective strike solution. The UAV is expected to be made available for procurement via the Brave1 Market platform.

Earlier, Defender Media reported on a joint component production initiative between the Ukrainian company General Cherry and the Croatian firm ORQA.
