Ukrspecsystems opened UK facility: what drones are manufactured there
The Shark and PD-2 drones assembled here will be supplied to the Ukrainian military

Ukrainian drone manufacturer Ukrspecsystems has launched a plant in the United Kingdom, located in Mildenhall, East England. Production is set to begin with the large-scale assembly of PD-2 and Shark unmanned systems. The drones assembled here will be supplied to the Ukrainian military.
The factory covers 11,000 m² and is expected to provide up to 500 jobs. In addition, the company intended to create a testing and training ground in the same county, but no information has been provided about its readiness.
The total investment in the project, as previously reported by the media, is £200 million. Over the next three years, Ukrspecsystems plans to expand production in the region.
The Shark reconnaissance drones and PD-2 multifunctional UAVs are Ukrspecsystems’ best-known products. But the company also has its own component store. These include camera gimbals that can be installed on UAVs and helicopters.
Deputy CEO Andrii Rymaruk confirmed to Defender Media that the components are in demand, but closed exports prevent them from being sold abroad. At the same time, Ukrspecsystems is strengthening this area by equipping the components with artificial intelligence.
