TAF Industries, one of Ukraine’s largest defence tech manufacturers, has appointed a new CEO. As of 1 January 2026, the position is held by Volodymyr Zinovskyi, who previously served as the company’s Deputy Executive Director. His predecessor, Oleksandr Yakovenko, remains the founder of TAF Industries.

Under the division of responsibilities, the new CEO will be responsible for implementing the strategy, systematising processes, developing the team, and overseeing financial performance, while Yakovenko will focus on strategic partnerships, investment opportunities, and the company’s long-term vision.

TAF Industries stated that the change in leadership does not mean a change in the company’s direction, and that all obligations to partners and clients remain in effect. The decision to change the management model was explained by the need to separate strategic and operational functions amid further business scaling.

Volodymyr Zinovskyi has over eight years of experience managing his own business. In 2024, he concluded his work at another Ukrainian MilTech company as CEO. He joined TAF Industries in September 2024 as an ERP consultant, later worked as a business assistant to Oleksandr Yakovenko, and from June 2025 held the position of deputy director.

TAF Industries is a Ukrainian MilTech company founded in 2023 that develops and manufactures defence technologies. The company has its own R&D centre, a network of production sites, and an engineering team. Each month, the company produces up to 80,000 FPV drones, more than 100 EW systems, and over 1,000 units of additional equipment for them. In 2026, the company plans to double its output of FPV drones, as well as expand production of the “Babka” reconnaissance UAV.
