Lanka Robotics, VATAG, Dozor AI and Tykho Electronics represent Ukraine’s defence tech at CES 2026

From 6 to 9 January, Las Vegas is hosting the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, the world’s largest electronics exhibition. This year, Ukraine is represented by a national delegation of 16 projects — eight startups and eight mature companies. The organisers of the Ukrainian pavilion are the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF), in cooperation with DroneUA.

Among the eight Ukrainian startups at CES 2026 are four teams developing defence and dual-use technologies. Defender Media briefly outlines each of the projects in this group.

VATAG by Ground Robotics is an unmanned ground platform featuring a hybrid power system, autonomous navigation and AI-based mapping. The solution’s transport module is adapted for commercial applications in mining, forestry, emergency response zones and recovery operations.

VATAG can carry up to two tonnes of cargo, features autonomous navigation with obstacle avoidance, can move in convoy follow-the-leader mode, carry out missions without GPS, and more. Previously, Defender Media reported on the combat version of this UGV, which was presented at last year’s Brave1 Defense Tech Valley event.

DOZOR AI by VARTA is an autonomous AI module for kinetic FPV drone interceptors. It is a self-contained interceptor with an integrated AI-based system for detection, target identification and pursuit. It is claimed to be capable of independently locating and destroying hostile FPV and reconnaissance drones even under electronic warfare conditions.

Tykho Electronics is a manufacturer of electronic components and solutions for unmanned systems. The company aims to localise component production and develop the Ukrainian market in order to fully phase out Chinese imports. Its portfolio includes flight controllers, power distribution boards, speed controllers and other components.

Lanka Robotics develops autonomous robotic platforms with AI navigation based on computer vision. The system prototype enables ground robotic complexes to operate without communications, repeat successful routes, recognise and bypass obstacles, and automatically detect mines.
