Come Back Alive fund gives the military 80 new interceptor drones to shoot down jet-powered Shaheds
Since September this year, it has contracted several hundred experimental systems from various manufacturers, but this is the first public handover

The Come Back Alive charity fund has delivered 80 test interceptor drones to the military, which will help shoot down jet-powered Shaheds. Pilots will now test them in combat conditions.
The cost of this batch is UAH 13.6 million. At the same time, the foundation says this isn’t the first delivery of such interceptors. Since September this year, it has contracted several hundred experimental systems from various manufacturers, but this is the first public handover.
When selecting drones, the foundation’s team analyses speed, payload capacity, flight time, and maximum altitude, as well as prospects for rapid scaling, pilot retraining, and an uninterrupted supply of necessary components.

After combat use, manufacturers refine the most effective models, which may later go into serial production.
Currently, the highest interception rate against Russian jet-powered drones is shown by the Bars interceptor – 30%, according to President Zelensky. However, it was originally developed as a long-range jet-powered strike UAV.
