DEF.Talks, a series of events on investment in defence tech, launches in Kyiv

On 19 March, BazaIT, together with UNIT.City, UADUT Cluster, and UNBAI will hold an offline meeting titled ‘DEF.Talks: Prospects and challenges of investing in the Ukrainian security sector’. The event will open a series of DEF.Talks events to discuss the development of Ukrainian defence tech.

Speakers of the first meeting:

• Oles Khudoba, co-founder of Double Tap Investment;
• Max Makarchuk, Head of AI/ML products at Brave1;
• Serhiy Androshchuk, Director of Strategic Development at Promavtomatika;
• Dmytro Kuzmenko, CEO of UVCA, an association of venture capital investors.

The event will focus on investments in Ukrainian defence tech, key challenges and promising areas of its development, as well as mechanisms of state support and private capital attraction.
