TAF Industries to launch drone production in Denmark by the end of 2026

Ukrainian defence enterprise TAF Industries plans to launch production of its first batch of products in Denmark by the end of 2026 through a joint venture with local company Upteko. According to the TAF’s CBDO, Mykhailo Diachenko, the process is currently delayed by regulatory and administrative procedures.

“We need to navigate a substantial number of bureaucratic procedures to make this possible. Our primary goal—which we believe we can achieve, though it may well require a minor miracle—is to output the first batch of products by the end of the year,” Diachenko told NordicDefenceWatch.

The company is also evaluating expansion into other Nordic nations. TAF Industries has already begun the process in Norway and is negotiating with Swedish firm Recas.

According to Diachenko, establishing an industrial presence in partner nations supporting Ukraine remains a priority for TAF Industries. This strategy will enable the company to expand local defence manufacturing while transferring Ukrainian combat experience and technology to European partners.

TAF Industries is a Ukrainian FPV drone manufacturer with a total production capacity of approximately 1 million units annually. In August 2026, the company signed a memorandum to establish a joint venture with Upteko.
