Tencore and Dominion Dynamics to launch TerMIT UGV production in Canada
The Canadian company will also develop a specialised TerMIT variant for operation in extreme Arctic conditions

Ukrainian UGV manufacturer Tencore and Canada’s Dominion Dynamics signed a memorandum of understanding at AUSA 2026 in Washington. The document provides for localising TerMIT ground drone production in Canada, the company’s press office reports.
As part of the partnership, TerMIT will also integrate the Canadian AuraNet autonomous control and navigation system. The first serial units made in Canada are planned for release in 2027.
The Canadian company will also develop a specialised TerMIT variant for operation in extreme Arctic conditions.
Tencore will transfer technology to its partners and organise training for Canadian specialists, as needed to launch serial production of TerMIT. Localisation is intended to ensure a steady supply of robotic equipment for Ukraine’s Defence Forces and to expand the production and technological base for unmanned systems in NATO countries.
According to Tencore co-founder Roman Tkachenko, capacity in Canada will give the company a scalable production base, more stable supply chains and reliable energy infrastructure. The partnership also gives the Ukrainian company a channel into NATO countries’ defence markets.
In August, Defender reported that Tencore had struck several international partnerships. The company agreed to create a joint venture with Finland’s Insta to produce Ukrainian UGVs in Finland, while Copenhagen Global A/S will help bring Ukraine’s Tencore UGVs to the Danish market.
