Ukrainian company Ukrainian Armor has opened orders for its UB82D strike FPV drone via the DOT-Chain Defence and Brave1 Market military procurement platforms. The company statement says this includes the government’s Army of Drones ePoints bonus programme.
The UB82D is an FPV drone built on a 10-inch frame and supplied with an integrated 82 mm mortar round. It is designed to strike personnel, field shelters, soft-skinned vehicles, firing positions, and other targets. According to the company, the drone can be prepped for launch in under five minutes without additional equipment.
According to the drone’s listing on Brave1 Market, the UB82D has an analogue daylight camera and a frequency-hopping communication system. It cruises at 70 km/h, has an operational range of up to 22 km, and a flight endurance of up to 20 minutes.
Priced at over UAH 27,000, the drone can be ordered individually or as part of an unmanned aerial system comprising 250 drones. The complex includes a ground control station, an external antenna, a monitor, a signal repeater, and a controller.
The UB82D has been codified complete with its warhead. The state procurement platform also lists other variants: the fibre-optic UB82FO, the thermal-imaging UB82D-TERMO, and the UB82D-TGS fitted with an autonomous target guidance module.
