Ukrainian company to sell interceptor drones to NATO countries together with Swedish Scandinavian X
The Ukrainian company’s name is not currently being disclosed. It is only known that it is one of the largest in Ukraine

Swedish company Scandinavian X has announced a partnership with one of Ukraine’s largest drone manufacturers. They plan to take part in NATO procurement together and offer production and maintenance at a Swedish plant. The parties have signed a memorandum of intent, according to a press release from Front Ventures.
Scandinavian X is a joint venture co-founded by the Swedish investment company Front Ventures. Under the agreement, Scandinavian X will act as the main supplier and liaise with customers, while the Ukrainian partner will provide the products and technical expertise.
The Ukrainian company’s name is not currently being disclosed. It is only known that it is one of the largest manufacturers in Ukraine, which makes interceptor drones, strike drones and reconnaissance UAVs. The manufacturer already holds a number of export licences and has established itself as an international supplier.
Interceptor drones are the main product for joint proposals to NATO countries. The parties plan to submit their first joint bid for NATO procurement in November 2026. For certain tenders, Scandinavian X will have a time-limited exclusive contract with the Ukrainian manufacturer.
Front Ventures also wants to bring in partners from Sweden and other Northern European countries that specialise in complementary technologies and systems integration. In particular, one of the company’s portfolio startups supplies explosives.
In the longer term, the partners will consider setting up a joint company in Northern Europe that would produce and export Ukrainian products.
