Phantom Defense codifies Blade interceptor and Balaban patrol drone
Both developments will soon be available to order through Brave1 Market

Ukrainian defence technology company Phantom Defense has announced the codification of two interceptor drones — Blade and Balaban. Both systems are designed to counter aerial targets, but have different characteristics and roles, the company told Defender Media.
Blade is a fixed-wing interceptor with vertical take-off and landing, designed to intercept Shahed-136 strike drones and other similar targets. It can reach speeds of up to 310 km/h, has a range of up to 30 km and can carry up to 0.5 kg of payload.
The VTOL design allows the drone to be launched from unprepared sites. Blade is equipped with both a daylight camera and a thermal imaging camera for day-and-night operations.

The company unveiled the Balaban interceptor in August this year. It is a fixed-wing UAV designed for prolonged airspace patrols: it can remain airborne for up to 2.5 hours, reach speeds of up to 250 km/h and operate at a range of up to 70 km.
Unlike a single-use interceptor, Balaban can return to base if no target is detected or intercepted and be used again.
The company integrates both interceptors into its own counter-UAS ecosystem. It also includes the Skydarix AI-powered radar system, Specter electronic warfare systems, the Streamhunter video interception system and Karakurt net launchers.
