Tencore unveils TRAX Utility firefighting UGV

Ukrainian defence tech company Tencore has unveiled a new unmanned ground vehicle (UGV), TRAX Utility, designed for firefighting. The manufacturer told Defender Media that the platform has already been used to clear the aftermath of enemy shelling in the Kyiv region.

The tracked drone has a firefighting module with adjustable water flow from 300–2,000 l/min. It can also carry a fire hose line of up to 10 sections.

The manufacturer adds that the drone has a water dispersion system. It cools the drone’s body and creates a water curtain ahead and to the sides. This helps it safely approach the epicentre of the fire.

The UGV can be controlled at a distance of up to 3 km, while video is transmitted over 1 km. The drone also supports backup communication channels: ELRS, LTE, Starlink.

TRAX Utility has now passed a series of official trials. The manufacturer states that the State Emergency Service and firefighting units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have expressed interest in the development.

Meanwhile, a few weeks ago the company unveiled a flamethrower combat module for its TerMIT 2.0 UGV. It combines 8 infantry rocket flamethrowers capable of striking Russians in dugouts and urban areas.
