HIMERA B1 repeater kept working under rubble after 10 strikes

A HIMERA B1 repeater used by units of the 1st Border Guard Detachment of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service survived 10 attacks involving FPV drones and guided aerial bombs. According to the manufacturer’s statement, the device remained intact and continued maintaining communications beneath the rubble after the building partially collapsed.

The device was installed on a telecommunications tower in Kharkiv Oblast. It operated alongside another B1 located 10.5 km away. Each repeater provided communications coverage within a radius of about 5 km.

One of the attacks destroyed the repeater’s power supply. The building subsequently partially collapsed, causing the B1 to fall and become buried beneath the rubble. According to the company, the device continued operating, so the service personnel decided to locate and recover it.

The final attack completely destroyed the building and telecommunications tower. According to HIMERA, the repeater itself remained intact after all 10 attacks and the building’s collapse.
