General Cherry drones hit more than 16,000 aerial targets in July

Ukrainian unmanned systems manufacturer General Cherry ranked first by the number of E-points in the Delta situational awareness system in July. The company’s press service reported this, citing the monthly report of the “Army of Drones. Bonus” programme.

The manufacturer also said that General Cherry ranked among the top three companies by the number of targets hit. According to the company, General Cherry drones hit more than 16,000 enemy UAVs in July, including more than 13,000 fixed-wing UAVs and over 3,000 copters.

General Cherry ranked third among night-time FPV systems by the number of targets hit in July. In addition, General Cherry AIR Speed and General Cherry Bullet interceptors destroyed around 300 Shahed-type UAVs during the month.

At the end of July, Defender Media reported that General Cherry had obtained a licence to create private air defence systems. The permit allows the company to provide protection for private facilities and critical infrastructure.
