EDRONE’s Baton interceptor lineup launches on Brave1 Market

Ukrainian company EDrone has featured its BATON family of interceptor drones on the Brave1 Market platform, designed to detect and engage aerial targets. The lineup comprises four variants: multicopter and fixed-wing platforms, each available with either a daylight or a thermal imaging camera.

All interceptors utilise a digital video link, can operate at altitudes of up to 3,000 m, and reach a top speed of 300 km/h. Target acquisition and engagement are powered by EDrone’s proprietary machine vision-based terminal guidance system. The BATON platform was introduced this year and has already been showcased at international defence exhibitions.

Multicopter version

The multicopter BATON is designed for short-range aerial target interception. It reaches speeds of up to 300 km/h, offers up to 15 minutes of endurance, and features a tactical operating radius of 15 km. Its stated mission range is up to 30 km, with a maximum flight ceiling of 3,000 m.

The interceptor carries a warhead weighing up to 420 g and is available in two configurations: with either a daylight or a thermal imaging camera. The daylight variant is listed at UAH 69,300, while the thermal imaging version costs UAH 95,300.

Fixed-wing version

The fixed-wing BATON is catapult-launched and engineered for longer-range operations. It features a maximum speed of 360 km/h, an endurance of up to 60 minutes, and a tactical operating radius of 20 km. Its stated mission range reaches 45 km, with a maximum flight ceiling of 3,000 m.

The fixed-wing variant carries a warhead weighing up to 750 g and is likewise available with either a daylight or a thermal imaging camera. The daylight version costs UAH 82,800, while the thermal imaging configuration costs UAH 108,800.
