BlueBird Tech unveils new drone detector Chuyka 4.0

Ukrainian defence tech company BlueBird Tech has opened pre-orders for its new drone detector Chuyka 4.0. The device operates in four frequency bands: 1.2, 3.3, 5.8 and 8.5 GHz. Scanning the entire range takes 4-8 seconds, the manufacturer said.

The new version of Chuyka has received an upgraded housing, a fourth antenna and an additional battery. Thanks to it, the device can operate for up to 6 hours on a single charge. Without the additional battery, operating time will be up to 2 hours.

In the 900-1800, 2870-4080 and 4860-6060 MHz bands, signal detection range reaches 4 km. In the 6100-8600 MHz band – 2-2.5 km.

The detector has two screens: the smaller one displays the level and number of captured signals, the larger one shows the intercepted analogue video signal. The device also has an output for displaying video on an external screen.

BlueBird Tech says the new detector has already passed combat testing and is ready for sale. Pre-orders are open on the website, with a price of UAH 47,880 including VAT and UAH 39,900 excluding VAT.
