Russian shelling damages office of military simulator developer L7 Simulators

Russian forces targeted the headquarters of Ukrainian defence technology company L7 Simulators during an overnight strike on 24 May, the company’s CEO Olena Dushyna confirmed. Despite damage to the facility, the team has maintained operational continuity, and no personnel have sustained injuries.

The company emphasised that the development and deployment of frontline-critical technologies will proceed uninterrupted. Dushyna noted that it would require several days to fully stabilise the enterprise’s core operations.

L7 Simulators is a prominent Ukrainian developer of simulation architectures for combat training. The company engineers tactical training systems integrated into the UNITS ecosystem. Its production portfolio includes the Dronobiy complex, designed to train personnel to counter FPV drones using pump-action shotguns, as well as the Vartovyi mobile simulator, engineered to train interceptor drone crews.

The Russian strike on the night of 24 May marked one of the most extensive aerial assaults since the launch of the full-scale invasion. Russian forces deployed a diverse arsenal, ranging from strike UAVs to the Oreshnik intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM), resulting in three fatalities in Kyiv.

Earlier, reports documented that the headquarters of Ukrainian UAV manufacturer Skyeton had also sustained damage as a result of a Russian kinetic strike, with no casualties reported among the company’s personnel.
