Ukrainian defence tech company TAF Industries has unveiled the TL Spectrum — a compact, pocket-sized spectrum analyser designed to test the performance of electronic warfare (EW) systems in field conditions. Defender Media learned this from a company announcement.

The device can detect EW activity at a distance of up to 5 metres and analyse the radio frequency spectrum in real time. TL Spectrum enables rapid switching between frequency bands and delivers results within seconds, allowing for prompt assessment of system performance in the area of deployment.

According to the company, the device can operate autonomously for up to 24 hours and is charged via USB Type-C.

TAF Industries notes that TL Spectrum was developed with the needs of military personnel, communications engineers and electronic warfare specialists in mind, providing a fast way to check equipment functionality in real combat conditions.

It is also worth noting that earlier in October, TAF Industries introduced its own EW system, Kvazar-A. The developers describe it as an effective tool for countering loitering munitions and multirotor UAVs equipped with payload release mechanisms.
