The Armed Forces of Ukraine to adopt multi-purpose tracked UGV Vislyuk

The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has codified and approved for service in the Armed Forces the unmanned ground vehicle Vislyuk (which means ‘Donkey’ in Ukrainian). The platform was developed by the Ukrainian company Robotic Systems in response to operational requests from the military.

The Vislyuk is compact enough to be transported in a minibus or on a trailer. It is equipped with two silent electric motors and metal tracks. The system reportedly delivers excellent off-road performance in challenging environments such as sand, swamps, and rough terrain. It can carry loads of up to 200 kg, and its traction power is sufficient to tow a stuck SUV, making it suitable for evacuation tasks.

The complex is available in multiple configurations – for logistics, evacuation, mine-laying, and terrain engineering. It may also serve as a mobile platform for mounting combat modules, communication systems, or optical surveillance equipment. Vislyuk features secure control channels and can optionally be equipped with a fibre-optic module. It is operational in temperatures ranging from -10°C to +40°C, and its battery capacity allows for several hours of continuous movement at maximum speed.

Robotic Systems is a manufacturer of UGVs with remote control systems, designed to support a broad spectrum of missions both on the battlefield and in rear operations. The company also produces a smaller wheeled drone, Pixel, and a mast-equipped variant of Vislyuk.
