The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced a tender for the creation of a hardware and software system for training, education and simulations using VR and AR technologies. To apply, please follow the link.

The deadline for submission is June 20 this year. After selecting teams and concepts, participants will go through a mentoring and prototype testing phase, culminating in a Demo Day.

Priority is given to integrated technological solutions that are ready for integration and meet the following criteria:

  • They support training in several areas
  • They can be installed on mobile platforms or quickly deployed in training centers or other locations
  • Easy to use even for unskilled users
  • Provide maximum immersion effect (video, sound, vibrations), integrated into a single complex

Areas under consideration: infantry weapons (grenade launchers, machine guns, turrets, MANPADS, ATGMs); UAVs (FPVs, bombers, interceptors, reconnaissance vehicles); armored vehicles (tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, cars); NRC (turrets, robotic systems, repeaters); aviation (simulators of F-16, MiG-29, SU-27, SU-25, Mi-8, Mi-24 aircraft and helicopters); naval drones; naval weapons and equipment (radars, control systems); WARGAMING (defense and offensive simulation); air defense and electronic warfare (system simulators); tactical medicine; mine action; engineering barriers; other (situational awareness, cybersecurity, communications, fire training).
