The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has approved using the D-21 robotic complex in the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The D-21 complex has an electronic interference-resistant control channel that allows the pilot to control the platform from a safe location. The system operates in two modes: manual when the operator controls it and automatic when the platform moves along a given route at a specially determined speed.

The complex is equipped with a silent electric motor and low-pressure all-terrain tires. These ensure high cross-country ability over off-road terrain, mud, and shallow water obstacles. Even in case of damage, the tires allow the platform to continue moving.

The D-21 is designed to perform logistics tasks, such as transporting food, ammunition, military equipment, and evacuation of the wounded. The complex can be equipped with a remote combat module and a machine gun, which allows it to perform fire support tasks.
