Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has codified and approved the Wolfstorm electric motorcycle for use by the Armed Forces. The ministry says the vehicle combines the advantages of electric mobility with features typically associated with conventional internal-combustion-engine motorcycles.

According to the ministry, the motorcycle operates silently, produces no thermal signature, and can carry two fully equipped soldiers, with a payload capacity of 200 kg.

The Wolfstorm weighs 105 kg, reaches speeds of up to 80 km/h, and has a range of 100 km on a single charge. Its 8 kW electric motor is mounted in the centre of the frame, while power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a chain drive similar to those used on conventional motorcycles. The vehicle also features a reverse gear.

The motorcycle can be fully charged in four hours. In addition to conventional charging, the battery can be quickly swapped in the field.

According to the ministry, Wolfstorm motorcycles can be used for a wide range of missions, including reconnaissance, transport for combat engineers, personnel rotation, support for drone crews, logistics, casualty evacuation, patrolling, and facility security.

During May 2026, the Ministry of Defence codified and approved 175 new weapons and military equipment systems for use by Ukraine’s Defence Forces. Nearly 93% of those systems were developed and manufactured by Ukrainian companies.
