Victoria Honcharuk, CEO of AB3.Tech

Victoria Honcharuk, a former combat medic with the 3rd Assault Brigade, has been appointed Executive Director of the defense technology platform AB3.Tech. Honcharuk announced the appointment on LinkedIn.

According to the incoming director, the platform aims to strengthen cooperation between military personnel, engineers, entrepreneurs, and investors. This collaborative effort is designed to shorten the pipeline from a battlefield requirement to a deployed technological solution.

“I firmly believe that Ukraine’s greatest defence innovations will emerge through close cooperation between operators, engineers, entrepreneurs and investors. My goal is to help build these connections and create a faster path from battlefield need to battlefield solution,” Honcharuk wrote.

AB3.Tech also plans to announce the launch of its own dedicated cluster in the coming weeks. Additionally, it will introduce new opportunities for companies interested in working directly with the 3rd Army Corps.

Prior to the full-scale invasion, Victoria Honcharuk worked as an investment banker in New York. Upon returning to Ukraine, she joined the “Hospitallers” Medical Volunteer Battalion, completed their combat medic training, and served as a paramedic. Following her discharge from service, she took the helm of the defense technology department at the Snake Island Institute.

The AB3.Tech platform is responsible for managing cooperation between the 3rd Army Corps, technology enterprises, start-ups, investors, research organizations, and international partners.

The platform’s core operational focus includes scaling technologies developed by the Corps’ internal military R&D teams. It also aims to deepen integration with the private defense technology sector to accelerate the testing, adaptation, and field deployment of new battlefield capabilities.
