Ukrainian Armor has codified the UB82D FPV drone, featuring an integrated 82 mm mortar round. Engineered on a 10-inch frame, this FPV platform is optimized for immediate deployment without requiring supplementary equipment.

The UB82D is designed to engage enemy personnel, unarmoured vehicles, and firing positions from the air. It boasts a stated maximum flight range of 25 km, with an airborne endurance of up to 20 minutes. The drone’s cruising speed is rated at 70 km/h, while its maximum velocity exceeds 140 km/h.

The UB82D’s payload consists of an 82 mm mortar round with a total weight of up to 3 kg. The platform features dual-redundant protection against accidental detonation, an automated self-destruct mechanism, and a contact fuze.

For reconnaissance and targeting, the platform can be configured with daytime or thermal imaging cameras, delivering automated optical target recognition at ranges of up to 270 m in daylight conditions and up to 480 m utilizing thermal optics.

The system is currently available for direct procurement. The standard delivery package comprises 250 UB82D drones, a ground control station, an external antenna suite, a control unit, a ruggedized case integrated with a monitor and repeater, and a charging station.

In the near future, the UB82D is expected to debut on the DOT-Chain and Brave1 platforms, making it available for orders under the “Army of Drones. Bonus” programme. The projected unit cost per drone is approximately UAH 30,000.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armor developed an FPV drone configured to carry a 60 mm mortar round, which is already deployed operationally by Ukrainian forces.
