Ukrainian UGV manufacturer Tencore has launched a joint venture with Germany’s FERNRIDE
Unmanned ground vehicles TerMIT will be manufactured at the facility in Germany

On 13 January in Munich, Germany’s FERNRIDE and Ukraine’s Tencore announced the launch of a joint venture to manufacture TerMIT UGVs. The systems produced under the partnership are expected to be supplied to Ukraine. The companies also plan to jointly develop solutions in artificial intelligence and autonomy.
FERNRIDE is a Munich-based startup developing autonomous and remotely operated solutions for ground transport. In 2023, the company raised $50 million in funding. In December 2025, Quantum Systems announced its acquisition of FERNRIDE. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This is a combination of Ukrainian combat experience and German engineering precision to shape a new security architecture in Europe,” said Maksym Vasylenko, co-founder and CEO of Tencore, commenting on the signing of the agreement.
The Tencore–FERNRIDE venture became the third Ukrainian-German joint venture announced in Munich on 13 February. Earlier the same day, TAF Industries and Wingcopter, as well as Airlogix and Auterion, unveiled their own partnerships.
On the same day, the first Ukrainian-German joint venture, Quantum Frontline Robotics — announced in December 2025 — officially opened in Germany.
