BlueBird Tech scales up production of the Chuyka 3.0 drone detector 100-fold

Ukrainian technology company BlueBird Tech has increased production of its portable electronic reconnaissance device, the Chuyka 3.0, the company told Defender Media.

The expansion has allowed the company to deliver the devices to the front several times faster, cutting current delivery times to two weeks. Exact production volumes are not being disclosed for security reasons.

BlueBird Tech says that production scaling has gone hand in hand with ongoing upgrades to the detector. The latest modernisation, in particular, has extended continuous operating time to six hours.

Over the past six months, the detector has undergone a number of changes, including a longer detection range, an updated interface with a histogram, the ability to update software online, expanded frequency bands, and improved portability while maintaining autonomy.

The Chuyka 3.0 is available for purchase via DOT-Chain Defence and the state-run Brave1 marketplace, including purchases made using e-Baly.

Earlier, Defender Media reported on a new fixed-wing strike drone, the Bebradron, developed by BlueBird Tech in response to Russia’s Molniya. The company says it has already upgraded the drone, which is currently in active use on the front line. Engineers increased the wingspan, which will boost payload capacity and reduce the load on the engines (extending flight time). The communications systems were also improved, including the integration of Starlink.
