Ukrainian defence tech company TAF Industries has unveiled a new short-range electronic warfare system, Kvazar-A, designed to protect armoured vehicles and cars.
The developers describe Kvazar-A as a compact, powerful, and reliable system effective against loitering munitions and multirotor drones equipped for munition drops.
Key specifications:
- 360° coverage with a range of up to 300 metres;
- Suppression of control and video transmission channels;
- 5 channels, each with a power output of 100 W;
- Configurable frequency bands.
According to a company video, Kvazar-A generates an active jamming field that blocks enemy drone control and video signals. The system has an operating autonomy of up to two hours.
In September, Defender Media reported on TAF Industries’ demo day, where the company showcased the budget reconnaissance drone Babka, the Kolibri 13 FR1 aerial relay, and the PowerKey system.
