Ukrainian company TAF Industries has updated the specifications of its Babka reconnaissance UAV. The manufacturer upgraded the communications system and increased the drone’s battery capacity.

How Babka’s specifications have changed:

  • operating radius: previously 40 km — now up to 60 km;
  • endurance: previously two hours — now three hours;
  • communications range: previously up to 55 km — now up to 70 km.

At the same time, TAF Industries says the price of Babka has not changed. The manufacturer describes it as the cheapest reconnaissance UAV on the market.

TAF unveiled the low-cost tactical reconnaissance drone Babka in July 2025. The first version featured a digital video system with 30x optical zoom, a GPS-denied navigation system and multichannel communications with pseudo-random frequency hopping.
