Ukrainian defence tech company Phantom Defense took part in Drone Dominance, a programme to select unmanned systems for the US Army. Together with systems from two other manufacturers, Phantom Defense’s devices created a counter-drone environment for testing unmanned systems, the company said.

During Drone Dominance Gauntlet II, Phantom Defense deployed a counter-UAS system combining its Specter Pro, L, X and XL electronic warfare systems, the Streamhunter video interception system and a C2 platform. The latter provided target detection and classification, coordinated countermeasure use, and confirmed the results of its operations.

According to the company, Phantom Defense’s EW successfully jammed UAVs and maintained their effectiveness in different weather conditions, including hot and rainy weather.

Following Gauntlet II, Phantom Defense was invited to participate in a number of upcoming events under the Drone Dominance programme.

Previously Defender Media reported that another Ukrainian company taking part in this stage of Drone Dominance was Unwave, which demonstrated four of its own electronic warfare systems and also received invitations to future events. It was also reported that Ukrainian manufacturer F-drones had received an additional order from the Pentagon for 1,320 F10 strike UAVs.
