Vluchnyk presents new Zorelit v5 interceptor drone

Ukrainian defence tech company Vluchnyk has presented its new Zorelit v5 interceptor drone. Pilots can use it to shoot down reconnaissance UAVs, internal combustion-engine Gerans, and jet-powered Geran-3/4s. The manufacturer disclosed the interceptor’s specifications to Defender Media.

The interceptor’s maximum speed is 416 km/h, and its warhead weighs 400 g. Its flight range on a single charge is up to 47 km. At a cruising speed of 200 km/h, the drone can fly for up to 17 minutes.

In addition, the UAV is equipped with systems for automatic Shahed detection and terminal guidance to the target. Zorelit v5 also supports remote control and integration with SkyMap, enabling it to fly autonomously to the target area and select the optimal interception trajectory.

Vluchnyk’s founders said in an interview with Defender Media that they are already testing an autonomous control system and navigation to the target area at a test range.

Zorelit v5 has passed internal tests at a test range, with combat tests scheduled for late September.

The drone is currently available for delivery under direct contracts with military units. It is also being codified and will then be available on the Brave1 marketplace for ePoints. The price depends on the configuration and ranges from UAH 70,300 to 95,900.

Vluchnyk’s main product is currently the Zorelit v4 interceptor drone. It was first tested in September 2025, and the first supply contract was closed in December of that year. The new Zorelit v5 was developed specifically on its basis.
