Ukraine has signed a Drone Deal with Finland – it is the 11th agreement of this kind

Ukraine and Finland have concluded a defence cooperation agreement in the Drone Deal format. The document was signed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Finnish President Alexander Stubb, according to the President’s Office website.

This is the 11th Drone Deal-format agreement that Ukraine has concluded with partners. It covers the exchange of experience and technologies, joint production, and opportunities for cooperation between companies from the two countries.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre was also present at the meeting between Zelenskyy and Stubb. The Drone Deal with his country was signed exactly a month ago, Defender reported.

Meanwhile, Ukraine is already discussing potential defence agreements with several more countries. In his Telegram channel, Zelenskyy said that preparations for a Drone Deal would be undertaken with Australia and Turkey.

These statements were made during the UN General Assembly in New York. Ukraine is also expected to conclude a Drone Deal with Canada there. The two countries have previously signed a declaration on defence and security cooperation and plan to jointly produce drones, counter-drone systems and ammunition.
