Ukrainian defence tech company Ukrainska Bavovna and the UCan Brave Tech platform have announced a strategic partnership. UCan Brave Tech facilitates cooperation between Canadian and Ukrainian stakeholders in the technology sector. Through cooperation with Ukrainska Bavovna, Canadian manufacturers will be able to refine their developments.

Ukrainska Bavovna explained to Defender Media that their role is to provide service support for concept validation, laboratory, field, and combat testing, as well as integration of solutions into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “We offer assistance with product development, adaptation to real-world conditions, and finding potential partners for cooperation,” the company added.

The announcement states that Ukrainska Bavovna will also assist with preparing the necessary documentation, end-user certificates, and licensing agreements for testing. Canadian developers can therefore verify technologies without deploying their own team in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian company also cooperates with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will therefore be able to receive feedback on partners’ developments from them.

Ukrainska Bavovna was founded in 2024 and has in its lineup the Last Shadow interceptor, the Paliy FPV drone, a guidance module, and an initiation board. Defender Media previously reported that the company, together with Pavetra Aerospace, will manufacture the Shuhai UAV at a facility in the Czech Republic.
