USF showed MORRIGAN, a new Ukrainian mid-strike drone

The Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) have disclosed details regarding the Ukrainian-manufactured MORRIGAN mid-strike drone. The platform is actively utilised to engage high-value assets deep in the Russian rear.

According to the USF, the MORRIGAN is a highly manoeuvrable mid-strike drone. It was developed in close cooperation with the 412th Nemesis Brigade. The aircraft is engineered to execute long-range combat missions far beyond the frontline and neutralise critical enemy targets.

The drone has already been deployed repeatedly against objectives in occupied Crimea. Confirmed successes include strikes on air defence assets and Russian military logistics infrastructure. The MORRIGAN is also being operated to interdict targets along the strategic route connecting Mariupol and Crimea.

Military officials confirmed that the MORRIGAN is a fully Ukrainian development. Additional technical specifications of the unmanned platform remain classified for operational security reasons.

Earlier, Defender Media reported on the government-backed “Logistics Lockdown” initiative, which accelerates the development and manufacturing of medium-strike drones. Under the programme’s initial phase, the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff allocated an additional UAH 5 billion specifically for the procurement of advanced medium-strike capabilities.
