Sternenko Foundation raises UAH 50 million for Digital Rusoriz: what is known about the new technology

The Serhii Sternenko Charitable Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign targeting UAH 50 million for the Digital Rusoriz project, which aims to procure more than 1,700 FPV drones alongside the essential infrastructure required for their deployment.

In response to a request from Defender Media, the foundation clarified that the new system, developed by Ukrainian manufacturers in cooperation with the Sternenko Community, enables FPV drone operations at ranges exceeding 50 km and ensures the complete resilience of these UAVs to electronic warfare.

According to the foundation, the core element of the project is not the drones themselves, but rather the specialised infrastructure that maintains continuous communication and enables long-range flights. The foundation’s representatives noted that this technology can be scaled up dozens of times and adapted for various types of FPV drones.

The foundation’s representatives added that deploying this technology requires specialised professional training for operators. The “Sternenko Community” does not plan to disclose any further technical specifications of the system—at least until the enemy finds a way to counteract it.

The official fundraising announcement states that the system is already being used to strike Russian logistics, while the new generation of FPV drones can execute missions at ranges of 50–70 km and beyond.

The funds raised will be used to procure more than 1,700 FPV drones and the infrastructure required to deploy them. The fundraising campaign also features a raffle for a 2017 BMW 430 Gran Coupe for participants who donate multiples of UAH 300.

As of the evening of June 24, more than UAH 33 million has been raised.
