Temerland prepares Gnome UGV with machine gun for codification

Ukrainian defense firm Temerland is preparing a combat variant of its “Gnome” platform, armed with a Browning machine gun, for official ministry codification. The milestone was announced by the company’s CEO, Eduard Trotsenko.

The unmanned ground system is currently undergoing the rigorous trials required to secure official clearance for operational deployment.

The platform integrates redundant communication architectures, including Starlink satellite terminals, mobile LTE modules, 10 km and 20 km fibre-optic tethers, alongside the proprietary ERLS system. The platform’s stated operational radius reaches up to 60 kilometres.

According to the manufacturer, the “Gnome” is engineered to execute remote combat missions and features an adaptable hybrid chassis capable of operating in both wheeled and tracked configurations.

The UGV is also optimized for tactical reconnaissance, logistics and resupply distribution, casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) operations, and deployment as an airborne-equivalent communications relay to extend the operational range of adjacent unmanned systems. For situational awareness, the robot features a panoramic camera mounted on a telescopic mast coupled with a dedicated object-and-obstacle detection optical system.

За даними виробника, “Гном” призначений для виконання бойових завдань у дистанційному режимі та може використовуватися як у колісній, так і в гусеничній конфігурації.

НРК може застосовуватися для розвідки, доставки боєприпасів і продовольства, евакуації поранених, а також як ретранслятор зв’язку для збільшення дальності роботи безпілотних систем. Для спостереження робот оснащується круговою камерою на телескопічній щоглі та камерою для виявлення об’єктів і перешкод.
