TAF Industries and Germany’s THYRA launch joint venture: details
The companies will jointly produce interceptor drones and later expand cooperation to counter-drone systems

On April 15, Defender Media reported that Ukrainian defence company TAF Industries and Germany’s THYRA are launching a joint venture to manufacture drones in Germany. The Ukrainian company has now shared further details of the partnership.
The memorandum on strategic cooperation, signed under the Build with Ukraine programme, was formalised at the Ukrainian embassy in Germany during German-Ukrainian government consultations in Berlin, attended by President Volodymyr Zelensky and Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The partnership aims to establish serial production of interceptor drones at a joint facility in Germany. According to TAF Industries, the collaboration will help speed up the delivery of critical defence technologies to Ukraine, increase the number of interception systems, and enable large-scale drone manufacturing in Germany.
THYRA specialises in counter-UAS systems. The partners say they plan to expand their cooperation in this area.
