Dutch Destinus and Germany’s Quantum Systems have agreed on a strategic partnership. Both companies are closely connected to Ukraine: they supply their products to the country, maintain manufacturing facilities there, and Destinus even has a well-known Ukrainian co-founder. Now, Quantum Systems and Destinus plan to integrate their reconnaissance and strike systems to carry out coordinated unmanned operations.

Under the partnership, the MOSAIC UXS programme and Quantum Systems‘ reconnaissance systems will be connected to Destinus’ strike products. MOSAIC UXS is a software platform for flight and mission management. For reconnaissance, the German company manufactures the Twister, Vector AI, and Reliant drones. Destinus, meanwhile, has developed the Ruta and Kryla cruise missiles, the Lord strike drone, and the Hornet interceptor.

Under the plan, data collected by the reconnaissance platforms will be processed and distributed via MOSAIC UXS. This, in turn, will make it available to Destinus’ strike systems. The companies aim to accelerate the interaction between reconnaissance and strike. The architecture is compatible with existing national and NATO command systems.

Both companies have ties to Ukraine and supply their products there. In 2025, Quantum Systems’ Vector UAV became one of the most in-demand products on the Brave1 marketplace. The company has a factory in Ukraine, has launched a joint venture with Ukrainian firm Frontline for drone production, and last month invested in WIY Drones.

Destinus has been supplying its drones to Ukraine since 2023, including the Ruta cruise missile. The company has assembly facilities in Ukraine, and the media have reported on its plans to establish a production line there. Furthermore, Destinus’s co-founder and president is Oleksandr Danylyuk, a former Minister of Finance of Ukraine from 2016 to 2018.
