BlueBird Tech inveiled the lineup of fibre-optic drones Zhakh
Drones with 10-, 13- and 15-inch frames have a range of up to 15 km and reach speeds of up to 90 km/h

The Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has announced the launch of a line of fibre-optic FPV drones under the name Zhakh, designed to operate in conditions of active electronic warfare. The company has already opened pre-orders for the drones.
The series includes three models — Zhakh 10, Zhakh 13 and Zhakh 15. All have the same flight range but differ in payload capacity: 1 kg, 2 kg, and 2.8 kg. The line has not yet undergone codification but is being prepared for this procedure.
The declared flight range of the FPV drones is up to 15 kilometres, with a maximum speed of up to 90 km/h.
The price of the Zhakh drones starts at UAH 25,000, though it may vary based on the current cost of fibre-optic cable, order volume, and drone configuration.
The company noted that small batches can be delivered within short timeframes — up to seven days — while timelines for larger orders are agreed individually.
Earlier, Defender Media reported a significant increase in fibre-optic prices since the beginning of 2026, as well as a partial halt in the production and supply of fibre-optic drones in Ukraine.
