Japanese Terra Drone to invest $10M in Ukrainian defence tech, with Amazing Drones as its first investment

Japanese Terra Drone Corporation has entered into a strategic partnership with Ukrainian company Amazing Drones, which specialises in the development and production of interceptor drones.
The investment was made through Terra Drone’s subsidiary, Terra Inspectioneering. The deal value has not been disclosed.
Terra Drone said it plans to expand its operations in Ukraine and leverage battlefield-proven experience to develop international projects. The company has earmarked around $10 million for investments in Ukrainian projects.
The investment is part of Terra Drone’s broader strategy to enter the defence technology market: in 2026, the company announced the launch of this direction and plans to expand its activities, including in Ukraine and NATO countries, as well as to establish a dedicated Terra Defense unit to develop this segment.
Amazing Drones’ interceptor drones have a range of up to 32 km and can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h.
Earlier, Defender Media reported on the expansion of the Defence Builder accelerator into an ecosystem with a $5 million venture fund and service направления. The fund’s portfolio already includes Sine Engineering, Falcons Systems, MaXon Systems and Huless.
