Ratel Robotics unveils new UGV platform — RATEL X
The drone is less visible yet offers greater mobility and speed
Text size

Ukrainian manufacturer Ratel Robotics has presented the new UGV RATEL X, director Taras Ostapchuk announced.
The new robot in the Ratel line is not a modernised version but an entirely new platform that incorporates the experience of frontline units and the needs of the battlefield.
One of the drone’s key features is its reduced height, which lowers visibility and improves stability. Increased ground clearance provides mobility across debris, trenches and various types of terrain, while light armour protects essential components from shrapnel and enhances the platform’s survivability.
Ostapchuk did not specify whether the new UGV has been codified or disclose its price.
Defender Media previously reported on the launch of a mobile repair station developed by Ratel Robotics and Tencore.
